Lahinch is approximately 55 kilometres from Shannon Airport, a journey of around 45 to 50 minutes by car via the N18 and N85. Shannon Airport offers excellent connections from the UK, Europe and North America, making Lahinch very accessible for international golfers. Dromoland Castle and Shannon Golf Club are even closer — just 15 minutes from the airport.
The Old Course is the championship layout — Par 72, 6,950 yards, world-ranked, with green fees from €120. The Castle Course is a shorter, more compact links (Par 70, 5,594 yards) designed as a more relaxed alternative, with green fees from €40. Both courses are maintained to the same exceptional standard. Many visitors play both — the Castle Course in the morning and the Old Course in the afternoon, or vice versa.
