Ennis Golf Club was founded in 1912 and occupies a beautiful parkland setting on the eastern outskirts of Ennis — the county town of Clare. At 5,696 yards and playing to par 70, the course is compact but full of character, with mature trees, a small river coming into play on several holes, and greens that are consistently well-prepared throughout the year.
The club has a proud history and is deeply embedded in the sporting life of Ennis and County Clare. It is an ideal choice for a society outing, a casual visitor round or a warm-up before tackling the more demanding courses on the Wild Atlantic Way coast. The atmosphere is friendly, the facilities are well-maintained, and the green fees are among the most competitive in the county.
Ennis is an ideal base for a Clare golf break — the town offers excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and accommodation. The course is within walking distance of the town centre and is surrounded by some of Clare's most attractive countryside. Green fees of €25 to €35 make it one of the best-value rounds in Munster.
